Don’t let your reservations on fiery Indian food hold you back from experiencing this variety of ethnic food. Saffron, a restaurant that features fine authentic Indian cuisine will leave you pleasantly surprised. All orders are tailored to your individual level of heat intensity. And for those with a more conservative palette; you may select a milder level.
Start off your meal with an order of plain or garlic Nan--unleavened bread--baked in their traditional clay oven. Pair your meal with a glass of their Hogue Johannesburg Riesling. Be sure to try their Chicken Tika Masala-chicken grilled in their clay oven served in a creamy mild tomato sauce. If you prefer the vegetarian selections opt for their Khadi Paneer-traditional Indian cubed cottage cheese merged with bell peppers, ginger, onions, tomatoes and freshly ground spices.
If you are too full to try one of their traditional desserts complete your meal by sipping on one of their signature strawberry or mango Lassis--a traditional East Indian drink made by combining fruit and yogurt. Be sure to order your own, because you will not want to share this delicious and refreshing Indian drink!
If you choose to dine at Saffron on Tuesdays or Thursdays you will be find that all wine and beer is 50% off. And on Thursdays from 6:00pm – 8:00pm they feature wine tastings.

Get Noticed...
FMDINING.COM is very pleased to announce a newly formed partnership with KVLY-TV & KXJB-TV!!
Beginning in early December, television commercials will begin airing DAILY on both KVLY-TV and KXJB-TV directing television viewers to the FMDining.com site. We can now offer the tremendous power and reach of both the NBC & CBS affiliates in our market!
We have now virtually eliminated one of the major hurdles for all websites… marketing dollars to inform the public the website exists and what the website offers.
The television signals for both KVLY-TV & KXJB-TV cover 35 counties in eastern ND and northwest MN… providing great opportunities for families visiting the Fargo-Moorhead area from out-lying regions to check out FMDining.com before they arrive. We are excited for the power of strong consistent television commercial messages to introduce FMDINING.COM to the market.

Light the fire
Have you been searching for a new and unique dining experience? Look no further! Spitfire Bar and Grill was created to satisfy any style of craving. They offer everything from fresh cut steaks and seafood to chicken and ribs to soup, salad and pasta. Spitfire has taken great pride in keeping all aspects of the restaurant local, fresh and homemade. From their locally fresh cut meats to their homemade sauces nothing comes prepared or prepackaged. Even the builders and equipment are products of the Fargo/Moorhead area!
Spitfire offers a casual dining atmosphere accented by their own flame all the while maintaining a family friendly environment. If you would prefer, elect to dine on their open air patio complete with a custom built fire pit.
You can bet your taste buds on a unique dining experience for several different reasons.
Spitfire has a few cooking schemes that no other restaurant in the FM has to offer. While the area may be familiar with the common rotisserie and fire grills, Spitfire is the only eatery in the FM area to cook their exclusive entrées using a custom built wood-fire grill. This method allows for matchless flavor and aromas to amplify their menu.
Start off your meal with their one-of-a-kind and most popular appetizer--Pulled Pork Nachos. Layered with nacho chips, pulled pork, their signature homemade barbeque sauce, creamy nacho cheese, baked beans and topped off with a generous dollop sour cream and jalapeños this combination sounds pretty crazy. But don't let this conglomeration fool you….there is a reason this is their most popular appetizer and that is because it is out of this world!
And for an entrée make it a point to try their raspberry ribs paired with their fresh hand cut fries. For the lighter appetite opt for the half rack of ribs. Their homemade sauce is the secret to this amazing meal! If you have room to spare, give their signature desserts a try. You will not be disappointed.
To get the most bang for your buck, stop by Spitfire during their Happy Hour (3 –7 and 9 – Close). Spitfire can also accommodate your private parties in their conference room as well as cater your special event or banquet.
